Rick was introduced to the miniature zebu breed while hauling exotics in 1990’s. He had hauled a little heifer which he put in the cab of his pickup. Rick moved to Florida in the Fall of 2007 with his significant other, Bobbi. Once settled in Florida they began their adventure with the miniature zebus in 2010. They purchased a bull and heifer and loved the breed so much they decided to continue to grow their herd.
Rick had completed the AMZA Judge’s Training in 2014 and is now an AMZA Certified Judge. He has judged several shows in multiple states. He continues to promote and educate the breed with his knowledge at exhibits and other events.
Rick is currently employed with Greystone Healthcare in Lady Lake, FL. He also mows commercially in the evenings and weekends, as well as taking care of the farm.
