AMZA a True Registry

The AMZA does not delete any lineage that is on any other approved registries registration certificates.

 

The AMZA does honor other registries registration certificates.

 

Any miniature zebu that is registered with another registry can be registered with the AMZA.

 

Other registries currently recognized by the AMZA include the International Miniature Zebu Association (IMZA). The AMZA will need a copy of the registration certificate (both sides if there is information on the back). Somewhere on the copy of the registration certificate being sent, you will need to write the zebus color and whether they are horned, dehorned, or naturally polled, and a purchase date if that is not  on the certificate. That is all that is needed and the animal can be registered at the normal registration fee of $30.00 (bull or cow) for an AMZA Member in good standing or $60.00 (bull or cow) for a non-AMZA Member and $20.00 (steer-please provide proper documentation that the zebu has been steered) for an AMZA Member in good standing or $40.00 (steer-please provide proper documentation that the zebu has been steered) for a non-AMZA Member.
