Obtaining official AMZA Permanent and Master Grand
Champion Status
Permanent Grand Champion For a Bull, Cow or Steer to achieve his/her PGCH status the following criteria
must be met.
- An AMZA registered Miniature Zebu must win at least 4 Grand Champion wins
under at least 3 different judges.
- A Bull may win no more than 2 of the 4 Grand Champion legs as a junior (under 24
months of age), at least 2 of the 4 legs MUST be won as a senior.
- Cows may win no more that 2 of the 4 required Grand Champion legs as a
heifer under 42 monthes old and never freshened. All 4 of the required
wins can be won as a senior at any age after she has freshened.
- Steers may win no more than 2 of the 4 required Grand Champion legs as a junior under
24 months of age. All 4 of the required legs may be won as a senior
Steer, 24 months and older.
- PGCH legs are not considered "official" until verified by the AMZA
registrar.
Obtaining official AMZA Master Champion Status
For a Bull, Cow or Steer to achieve his/her MCH status the following criteria
must be met
- An AMZA registered Miniature Zebu must win at least 4 Champion Challenge
wins under 3 different judges AFTER becoming a PGCH. Champion
Challenge legs won prior to becoming a PGCH DO NOT count towards the MCH
status.
- Only Permanent Grand Champions winners and the Champions of the day may
complete in the Champion Challenge classes.
- MCH legs are not considered "official" until verified by the AMZA
registrar.
